We were lucky enough to work with Shane on two sales, firstly the sale of our home and secondly the purchase of our new one. The house we bought was on our radar for quite some time, so upon my first visit to the house I immediately fell in love with it, brought the family back the next day and they also fell in love with it. Above what we expected
I first met Shane when I sold my house in Wilga Street in Gladstone and at the time it was in a dying market and within a very short period of time we had a buyer for the house which sold at a price above what we expected at the time. The professionalism was second to none and both Leanne and I were blown away by the constant feedback and updates of how the sale was going. Due to the great service that we received on the first house that we sold thorough Remax the decision to use Remax again was a very easy one to make for the sale of Johnson Street. Once again Shane did not let us down with the house selling for what we expected and without having to hold any open houses which made it very easy, especially when we had tenants in the house which can be a pain to organise. This was again an impressive achievement as we sold on a very flat to weakening market and had an offer in our hands after only weeks. Shane kept us updated every week on the movements of prospective buyers and due to us living in the Northern Territory we had visions of one of us having to come down to Gladstone to sort out the sale of the house. This was not needed as every time I had a question or thought there was going to be a hold up Remax had already sorted it out or had the answers to address the situation. I would not hesitate in recommending Shane or the Remax Team to anyone that wants to buy or sell a property as we will definitely be using them in the future for our real-estate needs in Gladstone.

He replied to me that he did not know what their bottom dollar was. He then went on to state that he never asked a client what their bottom dollar amount was. Both Neal and I have been very pleased with Shane’s professional manner. I felt very comfortable with Shane the first time Neal and I met him and that and also a friend’s recommendation is why we chose him .We both liked his honesty when giving us our appraisal and letting us know what he thought of the price that we thought to set it at. Even though Shane said he thought it was too high based on the market evidence, we went with his advice and got an end result we were all happy with. We both also appreciated phone calls to let us know how any open house went or when a client was taken through and especially how promptly he got back to us. A rare breed when it comes to real estate agents
Just a quick note on my dealings with Shane with the sale of my house at 78 Penda Avenue. I contacted Shane as he was the selling agent when I purchased the property 6 years earlier. At that time he didn’t come across as the usual pushy car sales type of real estate agent, so when it came time to sell he was my first point of call! My dealings were all positive and I would recommend him to family and friends. At no time did he pressure me, to drop the price substantially to make his job easier. If I asked for his thoughts he would give them, and he kept me up to date in what was happening with potential buyer. Iin the current market I knew it would be hard work selling but in the end I was happy with the final sale price and it allows me to now move onto the next chapter of my life!
